Mobile : Lenovo K4 Note

Lenovo gave the bang at the start of the year with its mid budget high spec smartphone the Lenovo K4 Note.

Made with the core styling of the Lenovo new end smartphones the K4 note is the best of the Lenovo brand to buy this year.

For the budget of 11999/- Indian Rupees the K4 Note holds many high end specs. The 3 GB ram under the hood is one of the such features. Along with the ram it also sports a Finger Print Scanner which works just fine. ( Keeping in mind the budget  -  No Complains )

First lets talk about the features and specs first. ( we follow GSM arena )

Now first things first the look is amazing. Design is right and feels slim in hands.

A transparent back cover came in the box with a screen guard. It has a non removable battery. The first OS experience feels like a stock android , but has a the lenovo vibe UI on top. Camera is 13 MP but still no where near comparable to the 13 MP quality that samsung gives. ( No offence to lenovo ) . The front cam also gives decent pictures.

The usable Ram is about 2 gb instead of the said 3gb ( 1gb used by OS and other apps ).

Speakers are good and lives upto what lenovo promised. Touch is satisfactory along with the display. The lack point are the three dedicated keys . That does not works that good . ( we think that is because of the design . Speakers are almost very near to the keys that's the reason maybe)

The backside looks good and also gives a premium phone look. Internal memory is available uptp 10GB. ( that's just fine ).

lets see the device info as per the handset :

Model number  - A7010a
Android version - 5.1
processor - MediaTek MT6753 ( 8 core 1.3 GHz )
Ram - 3 GB
Rom - 16 GB
Head Sar : 0.844 W/KG
Body Sar : 0.711 W/KG

Now we talk about the real deal the features which we got for our money.
( Does it worth it ???? )

1. Finger Print Scanner - Admit it that this phone is having a finger print scanner for such low cost. And it works just fine. You can save upto two fingers in it.  The panels at the back near to the camera and adds to the look.
Extreme use results - when used with wet hands it doesn't works.

2. 3 GB ram - ( Yeah we mentioned it earlier still have to talk about it at this point as well )  The said 3 gb is available about 2 gb for the user as the OS and pre installed apps uses it. Still thats just ok for us.

3. The Camera - It sports a decent camera no complains about it. Though the options in the camera features are less. The selfie cam on the other hand has a beautification mode and gives more than satisfactory pics.

4. Battery  - The said battery gives almost a day's life for an average user. But once you use the Super Power Saver Mode it lasts for days. (We kindda actually liked this.) Works beautifully.

5. The VR - first VR for the budget segment. Lenovo plans to rule the budget sector.

 # Overall verdict for this phone ?????

Yes, if you wanna buy a phone in this budget then you should go for this phone. The hardware is good , os is good. We don't know about the Android 6 upgrade for this phone yet. The Display is decent, battery is decent, camera is decent, No lagging founds till now. Just 1 issue with the integrated touch keys near the speakers.

 # Anything annoying ??

Yes, there is a feature to stop  the unwanted touch happening while the phone is in pockets. Generally the feature is goods , nice thinking by the manufacturers but its still not that great. Some times while using the phone the same displays on the screen which seems to be annoying.

# waterproofing ??

Well the phone is not waterproof but light splashes ha not effect on it.

# Indicator lights???

yes, it has basic indicator lights for notification.

# Does it support high end games??

Yes, we tried asphalt and it worked just fine.

# Speaker quality ??

The dual speakers did their job just fine. Best sound in its league.

# Headphones??

No, we didn't receive any headphones for this phone. ( Honestly its a shame  #Lenovo )   we used some sony headsets and the sound quality won our heart. ( I cant say it was lenovo's quality or the expensive sony headsets. ;) )

# Comparing with LE ???

honestly we have yet not got our hands on the le1 so we cant say anything about it. But once we do, we will update this post.

# Did we really purchase this phone??

Hell Yeah !!  we got proof !!

Update 1. - for the issue of the hot touch keys near the speaker we used a tempered glass after using which issue seems to be resolved

Update 2 . - Alright folks just now received the Android Marshmallow Update for our K4 Note.
We hope it put some smile on your faces.
