Clash of Clans is a freemium mobile strategy video game developed and published by Finnish game developer Supercell. The game was released for iOS platforms on August 2, 2012, and on Google Play for Android on October 7, 2013.
We have been playing this game from some time and its time we do a review of COC.
We all have faced the issues of not getting a good game on our cellphones. Almost everyone is tired of the old concept racing games and the infinite games. A strategic game like this will keep you engaged without getting bored.
This is a top notch game for the mobile phones. (Not taking games with high graphics ) Its a simple game with simple but high end and design and tools. The storage is compact enough to kept in any model mobile. Even lower end phones also are supported.
They have also started a web series of the COCverse which is quite entertaining. ( Animated series ).

****The Game is strategic game. In this game you are to build your village, upgrade defences for security and upgrading your army to attack others.
****You start with a Town Hall and a basic tutorial is given. The main objective is to keep on upgrading everything and reach a higher level.
****The currency or mode of exchange in the COC universe is Elixir , Gold and Gems. Gems being the most valuable resource in the COCverse. There are collector for gaining the resources and the same can be looted by attacking other villages. Upgrade the collectors gain more resources. With them buy more defences and resource collectors. You also have an army for attacking others. With every level upgrade you need to upgrade defence and offence.
****There are workers provided through whom one can build the village and upgrade it from time to time. Every player has 1 worker from the start and in order to obtain more workers the players needs to buy them with Gems.
****In order to attack others the player is provided with a attack map. On this map there is the Evil Goblins world which needs to be cleared. Completion the this will be rewarded in huge gems rewards. Also in the map there is option to attack other villages. This villages are chosen randomly by the server.
****One can bookmark the clan they are in along with many other clans as well. Players can also add other players as friends in the game as well.

**** One other feature is Clan Wars. In order to be able to play clan wars you need to join a clan. In simple words you need to become a member of an group which is called a clan. Almost the same concepts as were in the older times. You are the head of a village and you become member of this clan which a group of many villages.
The members of the clans are bound to the will of the clan leader,co-leaders. Leader is someone who created the clan and he has the power to add members and remove them as per his will. The Leader or Co-leader has the power to start a war. Once a war is set the players are given time for preparations. Once that time period is to end the war begins. In the war every player has 2 attacks.
Every attack is graded in stars the maximum is 3 stars. In order to attack successfully you need to achieve at least 1 star in a attack. The War outcome is decided in two methods first which clan has earned the maximum stars and if there is a tie between them then the clan with the maximum average destruction percentage wins.
****Players have the option to ask for additional troops donation from other players in their clans.
****They are provided with a clan castle. Having one enables the player to receive donation from other players and save them as per the capacity of the level of there clan castle. Clan castle also stores the rewards resources won.
****Reward resources are won in war and once a players wins 5 stars on the game map.
This game has proven to be quite addictive as it takes a lot of time and the developers has kept everything interesting with regular updates and also certain special quests are given.
