A perfect comedy movie to refresh your mood. Although its more of kinda documentary style but this movie is awesome. For the ones who don't know the language in which the movie is made ( Assamese ) can rely on subtitles. We are as of yet not sure if there has been any audio translation done for it or not.

Plot :: ( written by us ) ( the plot won't give you the essence of comedy - you gotta watch it guys ) . There are many comic scenes through out the movie which are not properly written in plot summary.
The story revolved around a guy named "Charlie". He stays with his uncle who is a master of wing Chun style kung fu.
The movie starts with a few scenes of fight and other scenes from the movie.
Charlie has learned the art of kung fu from his uncle and helps him out in training the other students. Charlie has a girlfriend named Sumi who stays with her uncle as well. Sumi's father wants to keep away her daughter from her lover that's why she is staying with her uncle in Guwahati. Charlie on the other hand stays with his uncle so that he can be close to sumi.
Sumi's parents has arranged a lunch meet between sumi and a boy of their choice named Montu. Sumi does not want Montu to come and meet with her uncle's family. She confronts Montu outside the house and says she is not interested in marrying Montu. She fakes her lover to be a militant and scares of Montu. Charlie impersonates Montu and went on to meet sumi's uncle.

On the other side of the story a guy named bonzo has a craze for becoming an under 18 don. He starts his career by stopping kids on the road and asking them money. All this just for the craze to fight and make a name for him. While being successful a few times and not a few times. He encounters charlie's cousin. They end up with bonzo and KK trashing up charlie's cousin.
Back at the lunch meet, Sumi's family serves mutton to charlie. Charlie feels trouble in his stomach as he always does after eating mutton. He quickly runs off from there to his own home for a dump. ( this scenes has good comic effects. )
Two guys are shown practicing kung fu and exercising. They are some types of local goons. The leader gets a call about an issue. They both along with the person who called are at a government office for the purpose of obtaining license to open a wine shop opposite of a school.
The officer did not permit for the same. The Don decides to warn the officer for the safety of his family. So that in fear of his family's safety the officer might permit for the license.

KK wants to trash Charlie's cousin again but this time charlie is accompanying his cousin. They KK and gang gets into a fight with them. Result charlie trashing Kk and gang.
KK eager to learn proper fighting joins the classes given by Charlie's Uncle.
Sumi's is waiting to meet Charlie at a hill top like location when she is met with the goons who ask her to advice her uncle (the government officer ) to change his decision and provide them with the desired liscense.
Charlie arrives and fight them to find he is no match for even 1 of them.
Meanwhile a Montu da arrives back in city. He throws a party for KK and his friends where kk also asks Charlie's cousin to join. The aftereffects of the party was such hangover that he misses his exams due to sleeping in the public bus for long enough.
Charlie wents to ask KK to stay away from his cousin where he meets the goons. Turns out they are KK's big brothers. They engage in a little talk where he ensures to class KK. But he also challenges charlie to a fight . Charlie thinks this to be a great chance for impressing Sumi's family , accepts the challenge. On 2 conditions one that he must to allowed a months time to train and seceond if Charlie wins then they will leave Sumi's family in peace. To which the goon accepts only for Charlie to leave town and to never return in case of defeat.
After a month of intense training Charlie is ready to fight. The fight begins and a lot beating up each other Charlie wins.

This is a must watch movie from the assamese film industry.
A sequel of this has also been released which we will review later.
Our thoughts - This movie looks like was made on the independent scene. It has the freshness in it , the acting was good. Keeping everything low gave it the earthy feel.
Really only one in a while we get to see movies where the villian doesn't fly away at the hero's punches.
The plot is quite simple. Seems to be just the story of most of the common people just omit the martial arts part.
Well done by the makers. Awaiting to review the second part.
